Introduction

To prevent spoiling a movie, a book, or other material for your pals, you may use Telegram to hide spoilers. Here’s how to use Telegram’s new spoilers formatting to conceal messages.

Other members won’t have to mute discussions to prevent reading spoilers if you use the spoiler formatting. Only those that contact with the spoilers are aware of them. The formatting is preserved even if someone replies to the spoiler message. Telegram’s desktop client for Windows, Mac, or Linux, as well as the mobile app for Android, iPhone, and iPad, have been updated to include this capability.

How to Format Spoiler-Included Messages in Telegram for Desktop

Telegram’s desktop interface is the same for Windows, Mac, and Linux. With the exception of the keyboard keys, applying spoiler formatting to text or messages is comparable.

To begin, open the Telegram app and go to the Group or Channel where you wish to submit the spoiler message.

Type a message in the message composing field. Then choose the word or words you wish to format. Select “Formatting” from the menu that appears when you right-click on it.

Then choose “Spoiler.” To rapidly apply the spoilers formatting, click Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows or Cmd+Shift+P on Mac.

To send your message, press Enter. On Windows, the words selected with spoilers formatting will be grayed out, whereas on Mac, they will be blacked out.

In Telegram for Mobile, how do you format messages with spoilers

Applying spoilers formatting to messages on Telegram for Android, iPhone, or iPad is a little tough. When you long press on text, a formatting menu appears, which you must travel through.

Open the Telegram app on your mobile device to get started.

Go to the group or channel where you wish to post a spoiler-formatted message. The built-in formatting option will show when you type the message and press and hold on the word(s) you wish to format.

To apply the formatting to the selected sentence on Android, simply press “Spoiler.”

On the iPhone and iPad, things are a little different. To access more formatting options, press the “BIU” option in the formatting menu that opens.

Then, from the formatting choices, select “Spoiler.”

To send your message, tap the Send button, and an animation of a blurry cloud will emerge.

That concludes our discussion. The use of spoilers While message formatting might be entertaining, bear in mind that these chats are not end-to-end secured, so don’t share critical information.
