How to Invite People to a Calendar Event Using Microsoft Outlook

Do you want to invite people to an event in your Microsoft Outlook calendar, whether it’s a new or existing event? If that’s the case, our service makes it simple to issue calendar invitations. This work may be completed on a computer or a mobile device. How do you do it?

From the desktop version of Outlook, you may send a calendar invite

Use the Outlook app to issue a calendar invite from your desktop PC.

To begin, open Outlook on your PC. Click the calendar icon in the bottom-left corner of the app.

Your calendar will be shown. Double-click an event to open it if you’ve previously created one. Select a date on the calendar and click “New Meeting” at the top of Outlook to create a new event and invite others to it.

Fill in the information for your meeting in the new meeting box, such as the title, time, and description. Then, in the “Required” area, insert the email addresses of individuals who are required to attend your meeting.

Click the “Optional” column and start inputting email addresses to add optional guests to your meeting.

Then, at the top, click “Send” to send your calendar invite.

Your meeting invitees will be sent an email with instructions on how to reply to your invitation. Then you’re done.

From Outlook on the Web, you may send a calendar invite.

To send a calendar invite using Outlook’s online edition, open your preferred web browser and go to the Outlook site. Log in to your website account.

Select the calendar icon from the left-hand sidebar of Outlook.

Your Outlook calendar will appear. Select an existing event on the calendar to invite people to it. Double-click a date in the calendar to create a new event and invite others to it.

Choose or create a new event.

Fill in the title, time, location, and description of your event in the window that appears. Then, in the “Invite Attendees” section, input the recipients’ email addresses to invite them to the event.

When you’re ready to send the invitations, go to the top of the page and click “Send.”

That’s all there is to it. An email will be sent to each of the participants, inviting them to react to your event.

On a mobile device, send a calendar invite from Outlook

If you have an iPhone, iPad, or Android phone, you may send calendar invitations directly from the Outlook app.

To do so, open the Outlook app on your phone first. Tap “Calendar” at the bottom of the app.

Select an existing event on the calendar to send a calendar invite for. Choose a date and then press the “+” (plus) symbol in the bottom-right corner to create a new event and invite others.

Select or create an event.

Fill in the specifics of your event, such as the title, time, and description, on the next page that appears. Then pick the “People” section to invite others to it.

You’ll see a screen that says “Add People.” Enter the email addresses of the individuals you wish to invite in the text area. When you’re finished, press the checkmark symbol in the top-right corner.

Save your changes by hitting the checkmark symbol in the top-right corner of the event creation screen.

That’s all there is to it. Outlook will send an event invitation to the people you chose.

It’s also simple to invite others to your Google Calendar events if you use Google Calendar.
